About Bram

Schooled as a Naval Architect, Bram Jongepier has worked in various functions in large motor yacht design and building since 1993, and at Feadship since 2008. His experience ranges from naval architecture, construction, interdisciplinary integration, technical sales assistance and risk analysis to sea trialling, R&D and regulatory developments. His main drivers are applying smart creativity to bring complex yachting challenges to life like glass integration, energy efficiency of systems and balancing contradicting, multidisciplinary requirements within a single design. He initiated the YETI (Yacht Environmental Transparency Index) joint industry project in 2019, and has been involved in regulatory developments in his role as member of the Dutch National ISO committee on yachts, the Lloyd’s Yacht Technical Advisory Committee and various industry working groups for the REG yacht codes.
